The Toti A.C. is very proud of their unique family pair of Grandmother Lien 60+ and Granddaughter Megan BOTHA who is only 13 years old. In 2007 both represented K.Z.N. in the Cross Country S.A. Champs held in Mpumalanga, while Megan again was chosen for the K.Z.N team in 2008. Lien has placed more focus on road running events for which her achievements for the past 3 years in the 60+ age category is as follows:
1. 10km
S.A. Champs - 1 Bronze
K.Z.N. Champs - 2 Gold & 1 Silver
Spar Ladies - Winner 2006, 2007, 2008
2. 1/2 Marathon
S.A. Champs - 2 Bronze
K.Z.N. Champs - 1 Gold & 1 Silver

K.Z.N. Champs - 1 Gold
While Lien is now in the sunset years of her running career, in contrast Megan is at her threshold. Megan is trained by her father Johan who is also a runner of note and his goal is for Megan to follow in her Grandmother's foot steps.Genes could play a major role across three generations , Lien, Johan and Megan but Megan alone holds the key to the future.
